ok, first thing to do to stop your workstation locking is to start the local group policy editor.

  1. Click on start then select run.
  2. Type in gpedit.msc.
Next you need to locate the setting titled Microsoft network server: Amount of idle time required before suspending a session.
  1. Click on Windows Settings.
  2. Click on local policies.
  3. Click on Security options
  4. Search for Microsoft network server: Amount of idle time required before suspending a session.
Last thing we need to do is to increase the setting to something less frustrating.  Double click on the policy and increase from 15 mins to say 60 mins or whatever value you want.  Click on the explain tab if you want more information about this policy including the idle time.

Oh, one thing, right click on the desktop and select personalise.  Check that you screen saver doesnt have the "On Resume, display logon screen" checked.

Ok that's it, good luck.
